long time no see dudes and dudeTTES, our class has been dramatically reduced in numbers as our dear friend, shrijit kundu, left for the US, leaving behind his dear love ones (us) to suffer the pain and agony of studying and well, slacking. HA, from the famous 25, where we could form ONLY groups of 5x5 or 25x1, its become the lowly 24, where we can form groups of 24x1, 2x12, 3x8 & 4x6 [i think it should be correct, my math ROCKS ok, dun play play].. which gives the teachers more space to give us CREATIVE work and blah blah blah..

besides all that nonsense ^^ well, 1/2 the holidays are over, believe it or not [i rather not], school is starting. we ONLY have about 7-8 assignments !?!?!? and ive done.erm1/2 of everything except life sc cause i dun understand a single thing about it.. HA

yeps, so enjoy the rest of the holidays, dun miss shrijit TOO much and BUH-BYE

1st post for March.... Yay. This week was quite slack wasn't it? Monday and Tuesday were test days, Wednesday was founder's day rehersals, Thursday was founder's day and today was the Life Sciences Symposium. Pretty slack week anyway.

Man, math is like so chim now.... Good thing we're not being tested on whatever we're learning now on Tuesday, otherwise...heh heh. Anyway, we didn't win the bottle rocket competition sadly =( But at least it wasn't a total failure.. Our rocket went 18m. The winning rocket went like 24m or something. One group's rocket just squirted out all its water while they were pumping it and didn't go anywhere... lol. Our rocket had misdirected enthusiasm though, cause when we shot it, it veered off to the left, so it probably could have gone further.. Sigh, swimming finals..

blech, chinese new year over so fast.. even though acsi people like mee got xtra holiday.. chinese new year was fast but fun.. reunion dinner, relative visiting, relatives at my house, playing mahjong, going sicc with friends & relatives(total i went 3 times during tis holiday), play table-tennis.. yea. today went to see old teachers at ac primary, they're all still there =] and still the same. after tat went orchard. lol. play lan at cine, then walk around, go home for chinese tuition.. luckily im recovering from my sickness, a bit la, before chinese new year i was sick, like flu + nose bleed.. now after alot of junk food [jkjk] i onli got sore throat.. yeepee.. tomoro sch again. hope so not sian. im like gonna present 3 things tomoro. music project, la(b) project and maybe Mt got to present the famous people thingy. i saw ms. Shamila today, she was on the same bus as me when i went to ochard.. haha

Hey, happy Valentines / Friendship Day!!

I think that the verse for today on the right is very appropriate - For those of u not reading this on 14 Feb, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” (John 13:34-35).

I really think that this class, including me, need to love one another more. And since today is valentines day, isn't this the best time to begin spreading joy and love to one another? We need to learn to love more and forgive more, to create a class of more class spirit. I know talk is cheap, and we often don't walk the talk, but I think that since we've been together for over one year already, its time to think about our class. Frankly, it just occurred to me that our class is quite divided now; we aren't united as one body. We all need to learn to give and take sometimes, and cooperate with one another, and try to love one another.

Ah well, on a happier note, next test is in 12 days time! Finally got time to relax..!

Well, we just keep learning and get better a bit more each time. Christians, remember to pray for the class. It will make a difference. Anyway, we can talk all we want, but what we really need to do is listen to people. And think before doing things. Sometimes we don't give people a chance or don't bother to help them, me included. If we begin to really care for one another, our class will be different.

I don't think that we should blame Gabriel for telling on Julian and Sien... He's just doing his job at being chairman, and it's quite unfair of us to insist that he be a corrupt one and keep closing one eye. Even though there were doubtless others playing com in class, they can just count themselves lucky that they escaped this time. Before getting angry at Gabriel for telling, we should first get angry at ourselves for doing.

And yea, Gabriel, you gotta please stop watching videos in class if you want to be able to say that you have the right to tell on others.

In aid to revive my blog after a FEW days, i will blog!! yay, today was a fun day, sch was slack, then x-country training, we had long run.. haha, run to haw par villa, then clementi and back to sch, the weather these days is CRAZY, it was SUPER DUPER HOT. lol. seriously. took mrt to tuition, late like by 1/2 hr.. haha,fasionably late =) wahh, dunno wad to post leh, ohh. i noe. yesterday i played my FIRST ever badminton match. everybody say yay !!hahas, dam fun la,even though i made 2 mistakes, me /Andrew still won 15-0,15-0 =) tomoro got road relay at east coast. hopefully i do well, tat means im ponning badminton training !! tats sad =( i really wanna up my chances of playing against Barker or SJI or even RI. hhahas, blleaach, why am i talking abt myself, i shld talk about the class =) i tink that our class did well in the chinese new year decorations, even though not good enough to win =( i am glad tat everyone helped out =)Our class needs more spirit, everyone is getting pissed with each other, for example today, the CHAIRMAN, was involved in 2 incidents, whereby he made sien & Julian pissed by telling Mr. Kan abt them playing games, . in the case of telling mr. Kan abt sien & julian playing games, there were other people playing too, the chairman was just pushing everybody to help decorate the class, We shldnt just make fun of other people just for fun, including Shrijit and Kiran =P i myself finds it hard to curb not making fun of other people, but i promise to change, and i hope everyone will also try to =D

Don't think anyone likes to get people in trouble, unless you're a sadist... We shouldn't blame the prefects, because they're just doing their jobs. Stuff like eating in class, wearing ankle socks, playing games... is walking to the sac really so hard? I mean, maybe it does no harm most of the time, but we should still submit to the school, cause it trains up discipline and there are reasons behind the rules. I know I break rules too and may sound hypocritical, but we can try to change bit by bit... If we all try together, it may work out..

Bookings and DC etc..

Hi guys, I know this sounds cliched but contrary to what you think its not very fun to book your classmates and watch them go for DC and get demerit etc, but since you persist, we have to no choice but to book you. You don't like it either, so please please please follow school rules like wearing proper socks and not eating in class...

I know that some people might already be down for DC and you asked me how you know if you're down. If you have scheduled DC on Saturday, you will be given a letter on Friday to inform you, and please remember to go for your DC or you will be given another demerit and who knows what else

And just for your info i think your bookings get cleared every term, so yea, you have a chance to start anew in Term 2, and I don't advise you to start getting yourself bookings again for obvious reasons.

Here's to a more guai 2.14 yes? Lets keep our squeaky clean Yr 1 record as clean as possible in Yr 2

Okay I've just come back from church a while ago and i have the urge to share something with the class. Its about unity and strong friendships within the class.

If we want an example of a strong friendship we can look to the bible in 1Samuel, the friendship of Jonathan and David.

What are qualities of a good friend?

• Firstly, friends accept each other as equals.

1Sam 18:1-4
"1 After David had finished talking with Saul, Jonathan became one in spirit with David, and he loved him as himself. 2 From that day Saul kept David with him and did not let him return to his father's house. 3 And Jonathan made a covenant with David because he loved him as himself. 4 Jonathan took off the robe he was wearing and gave it to David, along with his tunic, and even his sword, his bow and his belt."

• Secondly, friends help each other.

1Sam 19:1-4
1 Saul told his son Jonathan and all the attendants to kill David. But Jonathan was very fond of David 2 and warned him, "My father Saul is looking for a chance to kill you. Be on your guard tomorrow morning; go into hiding and stay there. 3 I will go out and stand with my father in the field where you are. I'll speak to him about you and will tell you what I find out."

• Fourthly, encourage our friends.

Woah!

Guess what? In a recent publicity stunt, I deleted the main page for my website! That resulted in people being puzzled and me re-creating it for the next... Half an hour (maybe more)? Bad connections with sg.geocities.com did not help. See, this meant that I could now come and tell everyone about my website because of the stupid mistake I made! Yea! Go me! Click on my link if you wanna see it...lol. If you check it out soon, you may catch the present original background before I make a new one! Sooo worth it right? hehe.

sup all.. today we had charity bazaar, it went quite well, at least i tink so :) we sold quite a bit of our stuff, but we had a big disadvantage, cause other years went to places like thailand, china thus they could buy for interesting stuff, but i tink we still made a profit, abt $30 i think.. yea. tomoro is my church anniversary.. yee-pee !! btw, home-work is History essay, art essay, physical sc lms, math ws 3 .. yea.. plz remember 2 do yea ?.. make a good impression on the teachers =).. haha.. im the LA(B) rep now.. hahahaaha

Our class needs unity man.. we dun have at all !! even though some people are really good friends (the bobs).. other people are left out.. they will sabo other people in the class, and will go against wad other people think. we nid 2 stand up for our classmates, of course we nid the help of our chairman, who, is tryin very hard to stop sayin vulgarities, other people should try to too, people like ********, he says a vulgarity, but does not want to buy a drink for everybody who witnessed it.. why ??? tat's because there's no class spirit, who set-up the rule ?.. wasn't it our class teacher?? who is also part of the class ??.. i noe i have no right to say these.. but it is true. work harder yea ? we can be the best class in sec 1, we can be a better class in sec 2 =)
