Bookings and DC etc..

Hi guys, I know this sounds cliched but contrary to what you think its not very fun to book your classmates and watch them go for DC and get demerit etc, but since you persist, we have to no choice but to book you. You don't like it either, so please please please follow school rules like wearing proper socks and not eating in class...

I know that some people might already be down for DC and you asked me how you know if you're down. If you have scheduled DC on Saturday, you will be given a letter on Friday to inform you, and please remember to go for your DC or you will be given another demerit and who knows what else

And just for your info i think your bookings get cleared every term, so yea, you have a chance to start anew in Term 2, and I don't advise you to start getting yourself bookings again for obvious reasons.

Here's to a more guai 2.14 yes? Lets keep our squeaky clean Yr 1 record as clean as possible in Yr 2

Unity!

Okay I've just come back from church a while ago and i have the urge to share something with the class. Its about unity and strong friendships within the class.

If we want an example of a strong friendship we can look to the bible in 1Samuel, the friendship of Jonathan and David.

What are qualities of a good friend?

• Firstly, friends accept each other as equals.

1Sam 18:1-4
"1 After David had finished talking with Saul, Jonathan became one in spirit with David, and he loved him as himself. 2 From that day Saul kept David with him and did not let him return to his father's house. 3 And Jonathan made a covenant with David because he loved him as himself. 4 Jonathan took off the robe he was wearing and gave it to David, along with his tunic, and even his sword, his bow and his belt."

• Secondly, friends help each other.

1Sam 19:1-4
1 Saul told his son Jonathan and all the attendants to kill David. But Jonathan was very fond of David 2 and warned him, "My father Saul is looking for a chance to kill you. Be on your guard tomorrow morning; go into hiding and stay there. 3 I will go out and stand with my father in the field where you are. I'll speak to him about you and will tell you what I find out."

4 Jonathan spoke well of David to Saul his father and said to him, "Let not the king do wrong to his servant David; he has not wronged you, and what he has done has benefited you greatly."

• Thirdly, Respect and Value our friends.

1Sam 20:30-34
"30 Saul's anger flared up at Jonathan and he said to him, "You son of a perverse and rebellious woman! Don't I know that you have sided with the son of Jesse to your own shame and to the shame of the mother who bore you? 31 As long as the son of Jesse lives on this earth, neither you nor your kingdom will be established. Now send and bring him to me, for he must die!"

32 "Why should he be put to death? What has he done?" Jonathan asked his father. 33 But Saul hurled his spear at him to kill him. Then Jonathan knew that his father intended to kill David.

34 Jonathan got up from the table in fierce anger; on that second day of the month he did not eat, because he was grieved at his father's shameful treatment of David."

• Fourthly, encourage our friends.

1Sam 23:16-17
'16 And Saul's son Jonathan went to David at Horesh and helped him find strength in God. 17 "Don't be afraid," he said. "My father Saul will not lay a hand on you. You will be king over Israel, and I will be second to you. Even my father Saul knows this."'

I hope this helps us to build stronger bonds within our class. Matt 12:25 "Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand."

can everyone pleaaaaase dress with proper attire at least on Mondays coz thats the uniform check....and we want our class to be one with least DCs right? right? left. if you dont wanna dress well jus do it on mondays coz councillors will be monitoring....other dayz not that important...okay? okay? great.

Woah!

Guess what? In a recent publicity stunt, I deleted the main page for my website! That resulted in people being puzzled and me re-creating it for the next... Half an hour (maybe more)? Bad connections with sg.geocities.com did not help. See, this meant that I could now come and tell everyone about my website because of the stupid mistake I made! Yea! Go me! Click on my link if you wanna see it...lol. If you check it out soon, you may catch the present original background before I make a new one! Sooo worth it right? hehe.

sup all.. today we had charity bazaar, it went quite well, at least i tink so :) we sold quite a bit of our stuff, but we had a big disadvantage, cause other years went to places like thailand, china thus they could buy for interesting stuff, but i tink we still made a profit, abt $30 i think.. yea. tomoro is my church anniversary.. yee-pee !! btw, home-work is History essay, art essay, physical sc lms, math ws 3 .. yea.. plz remember 2 do yea ?.. make a good impression on the teachers =).. haha.. im the LA(B) rep now.. hahahaaha

Our class needs unity man.. we dun have at all !! even though some people are really good friends (the bobs).. other people are left out.. they will sabo other people in the class, and will go against wad other people think. we nid 2 stand up for our classmates, of course we nid the help of our chairman, who, is tryin very hard to stop sayin vulgarities, other people should try to too, people like ********, he says a vulgarity, but does not want to buy a drink for everybody who witnessed it.. why ??? tat's because there's no class spirit, who set-up the rule ?.. wasn't it our class teacher?? who is also part of the class ??.. i noe i have no right to say these.. but it is true. work harder yea ? we can be the best class in sec 1, we can be a better class in sec 2 =)
